Dholavira-
Dholavira is one of the five largest Harappan sites and most prominent archaeological sites in India belonging to the Indus Valley Civilization. It is also considered as having been the grandest of cities of its time. The site was occupied from c.2650 BCE. The town of Dholavira is divided into three parts: (1) Raj Mahal of the Raja / Ruler, who is at the height. (2) Habitat of other officers. (3) Built on brick-built houses of the common town dwellers.
A big factory of making pearls has been found in this town. Copper distilleries were found in fossils found here.
Rann of Kutch
The Rann of Kutch is a vast salt marsh located in the Kutch district of Gujarat. The Rann of Kutch is known for its rich culture and artistry, with villages showcasing diverse demographics and traditions. The region is a popular tourist destination, offering a unique experience of beaches, mountains, and the ethereal white desert all in one area. Some of the specialities are the distinctive folk dances and music, intricate arts and crafts, gracious people and nature, and the district's affluent handicraft culture, including folk textiles, exquisite embroidery, bandhani sarees, traditional ornaments, and mirror work.
Day 0- 15 Jan'25 - Wednesday - Mumbai to Samakhiali
Day 1- 16 Jan'25 - Thursday Samakhiali to Dholavira
(Dholavira, Archaeological Museum, Kutch Fossil Park, Sunset Point etc)
Day 2- 17 Jan'25 - Friday- Explore Rann of Kutch
Day 3- 18 Jan'25 - Saturday- Explore Bhuj and drive to Bhuj railway Stn. in evening
(Bhuj Chhatardis, Bhartiya Sanskruti Darshan Museum, Hamirsar Lake, Shree Swaminarayan Temple, Aina Mahal, Prag Mahal Palace, Bhujia Hill Fort)
Day 4- 19 Jan'25 - Sunday- Reach Mumbai by 11.45 hrs
